I-10 Widening baton rouge, Cmar design services

Huval is the prime consultant and lead designer for the design phase of the I-10 widening and reconstruction project through the heart of Baton Rouge.
The project will provide detailed design and plan preparations for the urban freeway and arterial neighborhood feeder streets.
Initial phases of the project included geometric layouts of mainline I-10 and ramp interchanges, roundabouts and intersections. The project also includes plan profile sheets for roadways and General Plan Elevation (GPE ) sheets for bridges used in preparation of Right of Way Maps and Right of Way Acquisitions.
Huval is also responsible in assisting LADOTD with project segmentations and development of formal documents for the Project Management Plans, Project Implementation Plans, Project Financial Plans, and Project Risk Matrix.
Huval with the cooperation of subconsultants, DOTD and CMAR Contractors, is designing both the roads and bridges for the stages of construction and final layout of the first phase of the project.
The project is anticipated to contain 5 major stages that will be constructed over a 4-5 year period. As the Prime Consultant, Huval is corrdinating all aspects of the complex project with our subconsultants and stakeholders.
